Questions about BankExcel Converter can be sent to support@bankexcelconverter.com, or through the live chat widget when it is available. Do not paste an unredacted statement, account number, or balance into chat or email.
Useful things to email about include a statement layout the converter reads incorrectly, a bank format you would like documented, a question about where your file is processed, or a mistake you have found on one of these pages.
Report a conversion issue
A conversion report is most useful when it lets us reproduce the layout without ever seeing your data. Please include:
- The bank name and the statement type (checking, savings, credit card).
- Whether the PDF is native text or a scan, and roughly how many pages it has.
- What went wrong: a missing row, a wrong amount, a reversed sign, a bad date, a broken balance, or something else.
- The page number and row number where you first noticed it.
Do not attach an unredacted bank statement. Remove account numbers, names, addresses, and other personal details from any screenshot before sending it. A description of the layout is usually enough; a redacted screenshot of the affected rows is better than a full file.
If no email application opens, copy this address into your preferred email service: support@bankexcelconverter.com.
What happens next
Reports are used to build regression cases for the parser, so a single clear report about a layout usually helps everyone who uses that bank. A format only gets its own format notes page once it has been tested and dated.
