This policy covers the website and the in-browser PDF converter at BankExcelConverter.com.
What we process in the browser
If you choose a bank statement PDF, the file is read locally to classify pages, extract or OCR text, reconstruct transactions, and build a download. Standard conversion does not upload the PDF to BankExcel Converter servers.
Paid AI repair
Cloud AI processing is disabled unless the specific processing path has an approved provider disclosure. When enabled, text repair sends redacted page text to Cloudflare Workers AI. Amounts and dates remain readable. The file OCR API is a separate path and sends the uploaded PDF or image to the provider before text redaction; a generic filename does not redact the file contents.
We do not write uploaded files or inference text to D1 or object storage. Provider processing region, retention, training policy and subprocessors must be disclosed before the relevant cloud path is enabled. Browser conversion remains available when cloud processing is unavailable.
What we may collect on the website
If you create an account, we store the email address used to sign in, account and plan status, session records, API-key hashes, and usage or order records needed to provide the account features. If you email support, we receive whatever you send. Do not email an unredacted live statement.
Cookies and third parties
Sign-in uses an HttpOnly session cookie. Third-party analytics and chat scripts are disabled on this origin because it contains financial data and local history. Hosting and DNS use Cloudflare.
Retention
Closing a tab releases its in-memory data, but saved conversion history persists in this browser through IndexedDB or localStorage. History can contain transaction rows, balances, filenames and text previews. Delete saved entries in the account documents area, or clear this site's browser storage to remove all local history. Downloaded files remain wherever you saved them.
Your choices
You can decline to select a file, delete saved history, or clear this site's browser storage. Clearing storage also signs you out. You can request deletion of support correspondence by replying to support.
