Screenshots Are Images, Not PDFs
A phone photo or flat JPG has no text layer. This page wraps the image locally and runs OCR so you get continuous plain text instead of an empty Select All.
STATEMENT FILE CONVERTER

Review extracted characters in the on-screen editor. Fix obvious scan mistakes, then download TXT or copy what you see.
The image is read in this browser. It is not uploaded to a conversion server. Closing the tab ends active processing; saved browser history and downloaded files may remain. Cloud AI repair uses remaining paid pages, not the 20 free pages. Account, card, IBAN, and government-ID numbers are masked except the last four digits. Statement photographs are not sent. That inference is not stored by BankExcel and is not used to train models.
Drag and drop a transaction screenshot, smartphone photo, or paper scan. This page accepts JPG and PNG only. One image per conversion. No account is required until you hit the free page allowance. Use PDF to Text if you have a PDF.
The photo is converted locally, then financial OCR reads printed characters. Keep the tab open. Angled, dark, or cropped shots need extra review.
Check the text against the photo, copy from the editor, or download UTF-8 .txt. Output is flattened lines, not a ledger table.
Unlike a native PDF, a screenshot is a pixel map. OCR has to guess numbers from the picture. Small fee lines at the edge are the first things it misses.
Distorted lighting, folded paper, and low camera resolution can skew characters. Compare every amount you care about to the photo.
Extracting text collapses columns into lines. If you need Date / Description / Amount to total in Excel, use the PDF-to-Excel converter with the original statement PDF.
If the amount column is cut off, the text cannot invent it. Upright, well-lit, fully framed shots work better. Free includes 20 pages per day. One image counts as one page.
The bank app shared an image, not a PDF. TXT is a searchable copy, not books.
Ask for the PDF when you can. Until then, extract text and treat it as a draft.
Read the result here before you decide whether a table export is even possible.
Local extraction runs first; eligible paid sessions may send redacted page text for cloud AI repair, not statement photographs.
A TXT file is easier to quote than a screenshot, after you redact account numbers.
Use PDF to Text or PDF to Excel instead. The original file is a better source.

No. One image per conversion. Repeat for additional photos. Each image counts toward the daily page allowance.
Select All cannot read a screenshot. This page wraps the photo and runs the same financial OCR path used on statement PDFs, then writes TXT. Columns and trailing cents can still be wrong—review before you rely on a number.
This page writes TXT. If you have the statement PDF, use the Excel converter for reconstructed rows. The preview here is editable; download saves what you see.
